It`s summer. Or it was yesterday. The @cinelli_uk #Superstar came out to play for the first time this year. Deep joy!
Dropped into the @moodliftcafe for a delicious lunch too. Lots of boxes ticked.

#SouthDownsWay Stage 6. From Lower Beeding till, well... we got past Washington and then ran out of steam at Chantry Post after nearly 10 miles of what seemed like almost continuous uphill - not steep but relentless gradient. But it was a truly beautiful day and once we got away from Brighton it was quiet and calm and peaceful.
We`re about half way there now - 50 miles down, 50 miles to go.
Pic 12 was hanging up randomly in the air b`n`b where we were staying in Pyecombe - a little blast of positivity!
#SouthDownsWay Stage 5. Seemed that some strange force was holding us back, preventing us for going any further than Ditchling Beacon on our quest to walk the SDW. But today we finally got past Ditchling Beacon on a glorious day with beautiful scenary. Hopefully, Stage 6 tomorrow and then we`ll have to return a few times to complete the 100 mile route all the way to Winchester.
#SundayWalk on a Monday - what the hell?!! Around Rochester Forest, Holly Hill and Ladds Farm. We still managed to find some sloppy wet #KentMud to frollock in.
#SundayWalk from Holly Hill around Harvel with the family minus last born who was working - for Mother`s Day.
Felt spring like to start - until the rain came - but not even that could dampen our high spirits. Lovely to be all together in the evening.
#SundayWalk from Shoreham (Kent around Eynsford and Lullingstone.
Late posting from our time away staying in #AshdownForest last week - we decided to have a lazy morning and a shorter walk around the forest rather than tackle the next stage of the Weald Way. We were on holiday! We`ll come back to finish the last two stages of the WW maybe when the ground is not so soggy!
#WealdWay Stage 6. From Fairwarp to East Hoathly, 10.76 miles of the wettest sloppiest muddiest walking miles we`ve ever done! Made it hard work and slow going at times to trudge through but still glorious countryside. The Oast Farm Shop in Buxted well worth a visit - it was packed because the food in the cafe is excellentė!
We loved the biblical hailstones which lasted for about 3 minutes in the late afternoon.
Note the rainbow in pic 9.
The pub in East Hoathly was shut so we had to sit outside in the cold waiting for our Uber to take us back to the start. Grumpy face! 😠
