annibal-like greediness, surely? Chris Froome wants to ride, and if he rides, then presumably he wants to win, the Olympic road race and time trial and the Vuelta a Espana too. He looked invincible in the Tour de France this year, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be invincible for the rest of the season.
It’ll be an incredible feat if he does manage to pull it off – nobody, not even the original Cannibal, Mr Eddy Merckx, managed the the Tour de France/Vuelta a Espana double in the same season. With a couple of Olympic Gold medals too, Mr Merckx would be very jealous of that I’d imagine! #bike
